Replace existing single-pole switch with customer-supplied or standard LED-compatible dimmer at an existing switch location. First device at base price, additional devices same visit at tier rate; add about 20 minutes per additional device. Includes removal, wiring, plate, and load compatibility check. Assumes existing box wiring is serviceable; smart dimmers requiring a neutral are covered only if a neutral is present in the box (see smart dimmer task). Excludes 3-way conversions (see pair task), new switch locations, and troubleshooting pre-existing circuit faults.

Typical duration: about 30 minutes on site.
