Remove existing attic ladder and install a new standard wood attic ladder (fits existing 22.5 x 54 in rough opening, ceilings 8-10 ft): shim, fasten per manufacturer spec, cut ladder legs to floor angle, and re-trim opening. Standard ladder unit and trim included. Excludes enlarging or reframing the rough opening, aluminum/fire-rated upgrade units (price difference added), ceilings over 10 ft, and painting trim.

Typical duration: about 240 minutes on site.
