Install a code-compliant thermostatic mixing valve at the water heater outlet (valve and fittings included) so the tank can run hotter for capacity while delivering scald-safe temps to fixtures; set and verify output temperature. Requires accessible copper or PEX at the heater. NOT included: water heater repair or replacement, point-of-use shower mixing valves, or recirculation loop work.

Typical duration: about 105 minutes on site.
